This article, co-written by two self-represented people with intellectual disabilities and two teacher-researchers, looks back on a combined experience of the creation of a mental disability awareness course. Opting for an autoethnographic approach, the authors question, among other things, the interindividual relationships and the organisational issues present during this project. They return to the way in which this collective construction approach was implemented from the definition of educational objectives to the evaluation of students. They also point out how this course was experienced by the two members and the possible limitations of this co-construction. . Cet article, co-écrit par deux auto-représentants en déficience intellectuelle et deux enseignants-chercheurs, revient sur une expérience de construction en duo d'un cours de sensibilisation au handicap mental. Optant pour une démarche auto-ethnographique, les auteurs questionnent, entre autres, les rapports interindividuels et les enjeux organisationnels présents lors de ce projet. Ils reviennent sur la manière dont cette démarche de construction collective a été mise en oeuvre de la définition des objectifs pédagogiques à l'évaluation des étudiants. Ils pointent également la façon dont ce parcours a été vécu par les membres des duos et les limites éventuelles à cette co-construction.
